Online shopping at the comforts of our home is one thing I've enjoyed over the years. No driving to the malls, lining up at the cashiers, crowded fitting rooms. don't get me wrong I STILL like shopping the conventional way but anything that would make it faster, easier and cheaper is always ok with me.Well!with that said I will try to keep updating this site of any sale I know about or coupons I get from the email just like this 25% in everything including free shipping at
Lacoste

or the ToryBurch sale which is 40% off in almost everything with code sale40 (u'll see the deducted price right before u click submit).I just scored myself a reva pumps and Gerrit flat. So,happy=)

Been working a lot lately, doing a lot of ot since I need to replenish the funds and save some more. Our hospital been high census lately due to the firestorm that happened last week. We're far from the fire but the smoke affected our air quality, thus people with respiratory problems had asthma attacks and such. It's been getting better though, still busy but more manageable now, in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm still working eve of thanksgiving then off for 3 nights.

We'll be having a small lunch Thanksgiving celebration on my side then we'll drive to Mission hills for dinner with Mike's relatives. The day after which is the "Black Friday" sale we'll just stay local. He doesn't wanna drive to Cabazon outlet so we're just gonna store hop here in southbay and maybe pass by South Coast Plaza or Rodeo drive(*insert devillish grin here*) Naaah!!!just kidding, I'd been spoiling myself way too much and all shopping I will do is for christmas gifts for loved ones.

My friends and I went out last Friday in downtown LA to celebrate Halloween. We met up at S and J's apartment and brought our costume n dressed up there. I dressed up as that girl from Harry Potter Mike as monk, S as butcher/killer from the movie Hostel, R as priest and J as Daisy Duke.

We left our area pretty early because we knew it would be traffic with all the halloween merriment in Hollywood. We got there just in time and we didn't have to wait to get in. It was our 1st time in Elevate lounge and the place was nice. The place was surrounded with posh couches which was strategically placed close to glass windows in full view of downtown skyline. There are 3 seperate bars to prevent overcrowding. The dance floor was on the middle with the dj's booth close by. It was a fun night seeing everyone's costume ranging from sexy to comical. We had some drinks and danced the night away. We got hungry after so passed by a 24hr diner closed by. We got home almost 3:30 already and I guess Mike really enjoyed because he was thinking already what will be his costume next year, haha(d nman cya excited noh?!lol)

This was the main page from yahoo. Declaring the victory of Barack Obama. I'm greatful I witness this part of history, the first black president of America. I'm no American(obviously=) but I sure felt the excitement from those around me. People at school and work are ecstatic. My Statistics professor even let us out early so we can watch the election coverage. Everyone is looking forward to the future and see the "change" he's been promising, to end I'll quote Grace from the now defunct Will and Grace show when she said "Obama u'll baRACKING my world."
He sure will.

It happened last month before we left for Hawaii. I wasn't planning to buy any bags because I know I'll do my "damage" in our trip but as I kept lurking on the purse forum. I couldn't help but fell in luv with the Mirage speedy. As I kept looking at the pics the more I liked it. It was 1 of my holy grail(s). So I scratched the itch and called the 1866LV. I knew it was a long shot since it's an LE of 2007 but no harm in trying dba? So, when I spoke to one of the SA they were able to locate 1 for me in Dallas unfortunately it was on hold for 3 days for a client then im next on the list. Shempre, I waited and after 3 days called them up and asked if it's still available and it was. I was ECSTATIC I couldn't believe I can still buy a brand new Mirage, all along I was thinking my best bet was from a reseller. So, I did the transaction thru the phone, I asked the condition and all and brand new naman daw accdg to the SA. I even asked if it's the store model coz it's the last piece in the whole collection. So, I patiently waited for the shipment when this arrived in our house...

an abused very scuffed bag. I immediately called the 1866LV and the SA in Dallas. All they told me was to bring it in the closest LV botique to assessed it. Next day I drove to South Coast Plaza and showed them the bag. They were shocked they said there's no way they'll sell that bag in that condition. When I spoke to the manager he said he need to contact the SA(off that day)1st before I can return it to verify it was the bag.HELLER!!!!now they're thinking that I switched the bag??!!I was furious there's no way I dropped that much money for a damaged bag..

I waited next day to contact the SA and he admitted that he didn't really checked the bag before shipment and that he's honoring my return daw and contacted the manager from SCP, from there they shipped the bag back to Dallas and refunded my money. I didn't even say anything to the SA as long as he refunded my money.Although, he was apologetic about it.
So, there Mirage(less) pa rin and still hoping to find 1 but in good condition.

*Here's the gorgeous Mirage Speedy*

I'd been back since last Wednesday but I don't have time yet to post. I'm swamped with school stuff and work is toxic right now. All I know is I missed Hawaii and my carefree and relaxing days in that beautiful island. Be back with updates=)

We're off to Hawaii tomorrow morning. Our flight is at 9:30 and we'll be staying at Hyatt Regency in Waikiki. Activities and tours are booked as well. I'm really excited it's my first time there. Pero mas excited pa si Mike he even listed the local food places that we should visit daw. He even made our schedule which I noticed that he didn't include parasailing. I know he did that intentionally, takot kasi sa heights.I told him I can go by myself.Iwan siya para may taga picture ako..hehe=)

Btw, got this from amazon. hopefully ok naman to.

A very late post re: our anniversary Vegas trip

We went last Aug 24-26. We left our place late afternoon since we went to church 1st. Travel time was about 5 hours since we had a pitstop at Barstow outlet to grab dinner then headed to Las Vegas.

Check in was a breeze. No waiting but as soon as were done people started arriving. Buti na lang. When we were in our room we rested for a little bit then went down to casino and gambled. We had some drinks too complementary if your gambling butwe didnt stayed that long. We were too tired so called it a night around 11.

The next day we did a lot of walking as in A LOT. We casino hopped and gambled and shopped as well. I prolly went to 4 Louis Vuitton in a span of 3 hours.hehe That's how close the proximity of each store. 1 in Saks 5th, 1 in Fashion Show mall another 1 at Wynn and 1 more in Ceasars Forum. Napapailing na lang si Mike (hehe)according to him "parepareho lang naman daw". I was trying to look for this particular limited ed. LV kasi so I kept asking. The funny thing though was so many people kept asking about my bag(was carrying my Damier neverfull) even the SA. They told me how lucky for me to have 1 since it's not yet available here.

Anyways, after so much walking we decided to rest around 4pm. It was enough time for us to prepare for dinner and the Le REve show later that nite.

*The Venetian and their gondola rides*

stage pool of Le Reve/after the show

Nagpapacute at 1 am
Swarovski/Premiere Boutiques at Wynn hotel/sisilip lang=)

very soon=)

*home of premiere shopping/ fountain by the Venetian/ by the Palazzo

*Architectural structure of Ceasar's Palace*

For our 3rd day we decided to relax and lounge for the day. We went for an early swim in the pool then went for our massage appointment at The spa. We had lunch at the Le Village Buffet at Paris hotel which has the best creme brulee PERIOD!! Ofcourse, they have more than creme brulee there mostly pastas and some creamy viands and they're dessert selections are to die for..hehe

After that heavy meal we decided to walk around to offset those calories. We went to the Bellagio's botanical garden and watched its dancing fountain which still gives me chills everytime I watch it galing talaga.

We were gonna go to Madame Tussaud's Wax museum at the Venetian but backed out last minute because Mike was complaining of headache. We just went to our hotel room took tylenol and he rested there for a while. Instead of going out for dinner we just had room service.

For our last day,Wednesday we just sleeped in and woke up 2 hours before checkout. Before we left Vegas though we dropped by Carnival buffet at Rio hotel for lunch. I know buffet na naman but Mike was craving for their pot roast so pinagbigyan ko na. Besides ok naman tlaga yung food as in dami selections sarap pa. Gosh! wala talagang diet diet dito.

ok!so for my loot..next time na, haba na kaya nito.

Been a very very bad blogger. So, many things happened and yet too busy/lazy to write about it.
But I promise myself I will...

-> Work is still busy like usual and still tolerable. I received a special musical card with Ferrero chocolate from one of the patients to say how thankful he is..aaaww!!I kept the card but the chocolate was smothered by my co-workers.hehe will post the card next time

->Vegas trip was last month and will kwento next post

->Ofcourse, with the Vegas trip comes with the Vegas loot(big grin)

->School!!As I've mentioned before I went back to school 1st week of September to further my studies. Unfortunately I still need 2 classes (Statistics and Humanities)for the program. Upto now I still dont get it Statistics to Nursing???Whats the correlation?????hehehe just ranting..

->our upcoming birthday trip to Hawaii. Hotel and airfare is booked but still need to finalize the activities and such

See lots of happening thus, no time for blogging

Mike and I started talking about our plans for our birthdays next month you see our birthdays are just 4 days apart and we usually celebrate it together with our friends and family. But this year were thinking of going on a trip. No specifics yet but most likely in a place where serious swimsuit wearing is needed(ayayay!cringing here, hehe).Hopefully we will be able to finalize everything before the end of the month.

Next week also we're going to our VERY delayed anniversary trip in Vegas. We had to postpone our trip back in February because his parents came here to visit and then our schedules didn't clear up until now. I'm a little hesitant driving there though coz the temperature there is in the 100s but our complimentary room will expire this month so we might as well use it.

So, were going for 3 nights and 4 days. I've already booked tickets for the Le Reve show at Wynn hotel and really looking forward to this show. Aside from that we'll be doing the usual casino and restau hopping, gambling, massages in the spa and lounging in the pool.

That's how I would describe my day was. After an early Sunday bible meeting Mike and I opted to just stay in at the comforts of a turned on ac. It was HOT HoT Sunday so no way I would go out.

Around dinner though Mike was craving for some Hawaiian laulau and got our fix at King's Hawaiian

Here's my Royal Platter with very yummy calamari
