What the hell is going on??!!We already know Myanmar suffered a devastating cyclone and yet their goverment is restricting countries from giving them aid. I don't understand. It gives me heartache seeing those people suffering and yet the very people who supposed to take care of their countrymen are the ones prolonging their agony. Ok!given that their a military-led goverment and their afraid that this could be a way the western countries can penetrate their very secluded country. But isn't it UN already proposed ways for lesser presence of the troops. I just hope everything get's settled especially when the bottom line is just helping out people

If you would like to help. Here's an easy way.

It was our 1st time to go to Laughlin, Nevada. Everytime we visit that state, Las Vegas is the first thing that comes to our mind. I don't know what to expect except for the Colorado river in the middle of a dessert like place.

We left pretty early and it's a 4-5 hr drive. We stopped by Jollibee first to have breakfast then drove straight. We got there around 13:15 and we're starving but we had to to wait for our room because check in was not till 1500. We end up just waiting for 20 mins then able to check in early with out paying extra.

After we got settled in our rooms. Everyone met up in the buffet restau of Harrahs. The restau was just ok.So, many choices but nothing really spectacular about it.

After, we went straight to the Casino area and started gambling..Wrong move for me because I lose money from the slots(Mike won some though=).After some time I realized that it's not really my day.So, we end up just going to the balcony/pool area of our hotel and took some pics then played in the sand by the Colorado River.Light dinner then casino hop.

Next day was Easter Sunday so all of us attended mass and had champagne brunch after. We planned at first to go swimming and rent out some jet skis but it was gloomy and cold so we just scraped the idea. His parents though and some relatives hopped in the water taxi while some of us gambled again(adik adik talaga=)This time though I won so I got even.

On our way home, Mike asked me if I want to go back there next month. He said we'll enjoy more the water because it's summer. I on the other hand have different plan. I'd rather go back to Vegas knowing fancy shopping places waiting for me.(lol)Conversation ended with him giving me the"LOOK"hehe

Some pics from our very quick San Fran trip. Quick because it was just an overnight. We pretty much saw the places to be seen though. Mike and I been there a couple of times already but it's his parents 1st time. We had brunch at the Chinatown then we headed to Fisherman's wharf. We took the ferry ride which sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge, then around the Angel's Island then Alcatraz. We strolled after and shop some souvenirs we then tried the famous clam chowder of the Wharf and it was really good especially it was really cold that day. After we drove to the Lombard street "the crookedest [most winding] street in world". I couldn't get a decent picture so just go to the link=)

Next stop was the Golden Gate park.Ofcourse pictures galore even the inlaws were giddy to pose for the camera. Next was a quick stop to Palace of Fine arts. After that we were tired so we decided to go back to our hotel and took a quick nap.

We woke up past 6 already so we just went to Max Philippines Restau for dinner then to Twin Peaks.Sadly though I left our cam in the hotel so no pics=(
That was it for the night. We had to rest up early for the next day for the long drive back to SoCal but we stopped by Camarillo for outlet shopping(woohoo!!)then dinner get together at one of his aunt's.

Side note: Outlet Shopping:I ended up getting only 1 blouse from juicy couture.Mike was amazed. He patted my forehead and asked if I was sick and said he's impressed.hehe. Little did he know I'm saving for a big splurge this May.hahahah
